No, for defect removal by hand, I stick to a yellow foam Hi Tech Applicator Pad, I have never used any type of wool pad on my Silverado or Sequioa because the foam applicator pad and the product I am using usually do the job for me just fine. Any swirls i may pick up over winter are mild anyways.

But i think any type of wool pad is best left for rotary buffers, i dont even think it should be used with the D.A?
