  • Claybar question

I searched but didnt find what I was looking for or I just missed it.

Using the claybar are you suppose to use the detailer that came in the box for a lubricant?

If not what do you use

    Re: Claybar question

Im assuming you have the smooth surface clay kit in which case you are correct. The quick detailer in the package is your lubricant

      Re: Claybar question

Like John said, you use the detailing spray that came in the box. If you have to get more spray, get the regular quick detailing spray in the maroon bottle and not the Ultimate Quick detailing spray.

I learned a trick on you tube and that is to fill the bottle halfway with qd spray, and the other half with water. Cuts down on the amount of detailing spray you use.

Some people use Last Touch 1:1 as lube too
