  • GC Shampoo & Conditoner

I finally went out and bought this stuff, and all I have to say is......WOW!

I had no idea this stuff could be so much better than the NXT Wash. Truly an amazing product. I really noticed more Lubricants and a lot more suds. I strongly recommend this product to everyone. It's one of my favorites now!

I think GC definitely leaves the car looking a lot nicer after you are done, but I still think NXT wash does a better job of removing dirt quicker and easier. I still prefer GC though. Glad you tried it out.

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

      I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
      Remove swirls my friends.

Gold Class Car Wash is a fabulous product. Lots of suds, and it smells great. Runs about $7 at Wal-Mart.

Oh...OK I got it. Thanks for the picture. I initially thought Mega was referring to something else. I have purchased this recently at Wal Mart but have yet to try it. I read a lot of good things on here about it!

Definately one of my favorite products. Makes washing a pleasure. Plenty of suds, great lube, great scent and that characteristic gold wash solution.

NXT's lime scent is too strong for my tastes. And many other manufacturers' products fail to deliver at the same level as both of these consumer line products IMO.

Here's what Autogeek has to say about Gold Class Shampoo and Conditioner:

Luxurious suds with conditioners nourish your finish and create a brilliantly slick surface that encourages water to flow off in sheets. This wash reduces drying time and leaves a shimmering gloss.

The rich conditioners pamper the paint and make the washing process a dream as your wash mitt or sponge glides across the slick surface. This is far more than a car wash...it is a lavish spa for your automobile.

This is the real thing! - not some inexpensive imitation of dish-soap labeled for “automotive use”. An inferior product contains surfactants, so wrong for auto paint, they effectively strip the finish of all its protective waxes and polish wouldn’t stand a chance! Most of us have had the displeasure of falling victim to misleading labeling in the past. But now, motoring hobbyists and enthusiasts are far more sophisticated – and far more discriminating about exactly what they will allow to touch their cherished vehicles. Meguiar’s has been catering to the auto care industry for over 100 years, and if there is one thing the experts at Meguiar’s understand... its how to develop products that perform to a gold standard!

Gold Class Shampoo & Conditioner exemplifies that commitment to performance. Your car is drenched in a rich, gently cleansing lather. You’ll get more than enough suds to wash your entire vehicle, from just a spare amount of Gold Class Shampoo & Conditioner. The secret blend of conditioners nourish the surface and acts to lubricate the washing area, preventing the abrading effects caused by friction. The sleek, smooth surface literally sheets off water – a Meguiar’s technology caveat – causing the vehicle to actually dry faster and clearer!

There is enough cleaning power to do battle with even the most cemented–on dirt and grime, yet the clean is so gentle your wax and polish will remain fully intact. If you’re dissatisfied with “dressed up” dish soap – turn to Meguiar’s Gold Class Shampoo & Conditioner.

Now available in a big, 64 oz. bottle, you can pamper your vehicle every weekend! It only takes an ounce of shampoo to create enough suds to clean your whole vehicle. This bottle is 4 times as large as the regular size and only costs a fraction more. What a bargain!
