  • Removing Swirls and Scratchs on a Black Car

Just got a job request on a 1970 Chevy Nova. The car is Black and has many scratches and swirls (none are deep enough to feel).

    What should i do?

    I got a PC 7424 With the sfx-1,2,3 pads.
    This Package: http://www.eshine.ca/2_porter_cable_...r_kit-3181.php

what compound should i use to get rid of the defects?
The choice that is easily accesible is Scratch X 2.0 but will that be strong enough?

I do not have any pics but it's pretty severe plus it's black so it really shows.

    Any help is appreciated,

    Thanks in advance,Anthony

If it is easily available, you can do a test spot and find out.
