Hi All, new to the site and its really opened my eyes.
I have an '03 Camry thats my daily driver. For the past several years I've primarily done the touchless wash drive through for basic washes.
I'm interested in giving the car a decent detail now.
I don't think its ever had a real wax job, and I expect it has a significant amount of surface buildup as it sits outside, and for several years had a 90 mile daily commute.
I still get remarks about how nice the car looks, so I am a bit unsure where or how to start.
I am thinking of doing the following:
1. Do a wash with Dawn, hopefully to get some surface buildup off
2. Clay the car
3. Here, I'm a little stuck, should I do a Cleaner?
4. Wax. Don't have a buffer, so is there anything that won't take all day, and still let me get a decent protectant/shine? I'm thinking that I can always look at getting a machine and a better wax for my next detail in a couple of months.
Thanks!
