Uqd, uqw???

Operational wise, what are the main differences between UQD and UQW?

I know one is a detailer, to remove occasional contaminants and the other one is actual wax to boost the shine.

I often use wax (cleaner wax) to remove dirts like road tar. Maybe I should just use UQW instead of UQD.
