  • Overkill or ok to do.....??

I attended the Saturday class at Meguiars and I'm getting ready to place an order from ADS soon, which is to includse the G110 D/A.

AFter doing the wash and clay was going to use the new Ultimate Compound for the swirls and whatnot.

I'm going to polish as well with either Depp Crystal 2 or M81 and also wanted to know if it is also good to use M05 New CAr Glaze before I wax or is that just overkill. I'll be using the NXT Tech Wax 2.0. For the most part following what we did in the class.

I've just been reading alot about the glazes (#3, #5, and #7) and different polishes. Thanks in advance.....

It would definitely be overkill. Use either DC2 or M81 then wax. You can do two coats of wax though if you'd like.

Just remember like you were probably taught in the class. Test spots! I would break up your hood into sections and polish down the areas testing out things to find what works best. Have two that you like the outcome and apply some of the glaze, and see if you like the result, if so than why not apply it. However, if you see no difference than I wouldnt worry about it and just apply a wax.

Thanks John M. I really didn't think of that but it makes sense and is a good approach.

You're really just duplicating your efforts if you use more than one pure polish, so it's best to pick one and go with it. M07 is, of course, the grand daddy of them all, but Deep Crystal Polish is so readily available and inexpensive that it should be pretty high on your list.
