  • A different wax/sealer question......

It seems we all want to know what looks best, what lasts the longest, protects the best etc..... BUT, I want to know one simple thing. Which wax or sealant from Meguiars do you feel is the slickest, and least dust attracting LSP?

During the warm season here when it's not too much trouble to put a fresh layer of wax or sealant on the car ( I guess that's about the middle two weeks of July for me ) I would much prefer an LSP that sheds dust as much as possible. Yes, I know I could wisk it off with a California Duster or do a quick detail but honestly....... summer is sooooo short here that I'd rather drive my car than clean it. On those rare occasions when it doesn't actually rain for several days, I'd like to be able to blow the dust off the car by just taking it for a spin. After 3 silver cars/trucks in a row, this Blue Slate Mica colored car looks great when freshly detailed but gad.... 3 seconds of environmental fallout later and you'd think Mount St. Helens must have erupted all over again.

The car is currently wearing Collinite 845 and looks great but I'm thinking maybe M-21 or NXT might be a better choice for the warm months. What do you think?

    Regards

I would say that you need to find some MPPP, its the only wax that I know of that is anti-static. Good luck finding some; if you do find some let me know the source.

M21 seems to be pretty good at not attracting dust. Of course, I live around a lot of trees, so stuff from the trees is always a problem for me.

I have learned to live with the dust here in my country, because no matter what I do to the surface of my car, when ever I get back home after my daily routine, my car is filled with dirt particles on the surface, which I think is only safe to be removed with a regular wash (2-3 times a week)...
