With all the talk about abrasives and such im slowly realizing I need to get down to the classes in Irvine, but a quick request

Are there any under the microscope pictures of what the abrasives look like? I remember seeing a comparison on Meg's Grit paper vs norman Sandpaper...does this make sense?
