Only if the vehicle was just washed and is totally clean. UQW needs to be rubbed into the paint, and contains no cleaners or lubrication like you would find in a spray detailer which is intended to remove light dust or finger prints.

Simply put: You can replace UQD with UQW only if you are using UQW right after a wash as a substitute for UQD.

I really like getting the towel damp with UQD (the part of the towel that I am applying with). Once it is damp, you can go for miles with a little squirt on the panel, or a little more onto the towel.

I like to pre mist the towel also. Seems to insure even coverage. Great video, Mark.

You know, I usually pre-mist as well. I just didn't think of it when filming. I too dislike putting a dry towel on the surface like that.
