  • Swirls on side view mirrors

There are scratches and swirls on my driver side mirror. What is the best way to get these polished out? Will the M04 heavy cut cleaner work?

Try SwirlX or ScratchX 2.0 first.

Mine have a bit of plastic with one little section of painted area and I find it easier to work by hand with some 205 (or something different depending on the paint) since it is a little small for a DA. Also feels as though I can get around the curves and such easier also. Just my thoughts

I will most likely be doing it by hand.

I personally would try swirlX first then Ultimate compound if that doesnt work.

That was done with 1 pass with Body scrub, then Ultimate compound hope it helps.

Does he mean the paint or the plastic/glass mirror?

Good question. I'm sorry I forgot to mention that originally.

The swirls are on the glass portion. Whoever cleaned them last time was not nice. (maybe a harsh brush?)
