  • Water spots on glass

Will one of the Meguiar's products remove water spots on glass? I parked my car in a hotel parking lot and got one side watered by their sprinklers. I had a good of wax on the car (NXT) and it did not get spotted. Lucky I had just put a coat on !

What works for me is cleaner/polish which can be used on an applicator. I havn't tried Meg's glass cleaner,so someone else will have to chip in with that.

    Others here have used vinegar,alcohol.

When I clean glass,I normaly clay it first, but I find water marks are still there.

DC1 is best IME, if you can still get it. If not just go with Cleaner wax, just be sure to get it off your windshield with some alcohol or glass cleaner as I find it interrupts my windshield wipers' function. Follow that up with some UQW to prevent it in the future and awesome hydrophobic effects.

As mentioned, you can try a lot of things.

I would try a glass cleaner and clay first. Even RainX after seems to remove some spots.

Then you can try things like #105, or #4, or Ultimate Compound, etc.

Claying, #4 and #105 all have worked very well for me.
