OK, stupid question. As a general rule, hubcaps are usually low maintenance, but is there anything that can be used to polish up them up a little bit? They are made of plastic. The hubs in question look like this:

Ive had hubcaps on my car and I have to say a good coat of NXT 2.0 wont hurt. I did it once and noticed a difference in shine and the ability to be cleaned.
Not too much you can do to shine up plastic like that other than clean all the dirt off of them. A dressing will make it shiny, but not shiny like a shiny metal but more reflective in a way (if that makes any sense to you)
I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like. I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
Remove swirls my friends.
My wifes car has hubcaps. They still accumulate brake dust. I clean them with qwd, then I give them a coat of #21 v1. ( I still have some of the original left). They look great.
