Use a polishing pad like the W-8006 or W-8207, the finishing pads are so soft that they're kind of gushy for applying really oily polishes like M07

Run the polisher on the 4.0 to 5.0 speed setting, no need to go to 6.0 and anything under 4.0 is too slow.

Apply thin coats and remove before it dries. Also shake the M07 before using.

        Mike,

Would this apply to most glazes or just Meguiar's 07?

          Most glazes...

Products just don't spread out very well at speeds lower than 3 and th 4.0 to 5.0 range makes move the pad with the product over the paint easy while keeping the pad oscillating for thorough working of the product over and into the paint to whatever level that's possible.

The 6.0 speed setting and even the 5.5 is really too fast and since you're not trying to remove defects you don't need speed.

i have to agree with mike, pure polishes like #7 have a lot of play time before they are really worked in..the oils in #7 and in most pure polishes do need the speed to get worked in more effectively and quickly..i usually use speed 4 but sometimes ill bump it to 5 if i want to get the job done quicker
