Finally got a chance to snap a couple of NXT 2.0 and carnauba. I can't really capture the clarity as these are my first photo attempts, but I think you get the idea. The overlay of carnauba really added a great deal of depth and definition to the shape of the car.

Looks great, Bob! Which carnauba did you use?
Didn't realize until now that your MX-5 is a PRHT. Great looking car!Michael Stoops

Your car looks great, Bob. The paint looks as if it is wet, I know thats something I like to get out of a wax or paint sealant.
What did you use on top of NXT 2.0?Nick

My daughter gave me a jar of a competitive product for Christmas, but I'm certain having used 26 for decades, that it would give equally nice results."If we knew what we were doing, it wouldn't be called research would it? (Albert Einstein 1879-1955)

Nice Miata! A friend of mine has a first generation. Man is that thing fun to drive! In my book they are the best bang for the buck in the roadster segment. I mean don't get me wrong the Boxster is one wicked roadster (my uncle has one and I have had the pleasure of driving it) but when you look at the price and maintenance cost the Miata wins hands down by me.

They've changed quite a bit from my old '99. Aluminum block and heads, hood, and wheels. Six speed paddle shifter, Bose, heated leather seats, traction and stability control, and the top's total up to total down in 12 seconds without having to tug and pull on a postage stamp sized soft boot. Front to rear weight distribution within 26 pounds. Only thing it doesn't have is BluTooth or GPS. I don't think you can beat it with a stick for c. $28,000 o.t.d. for the top of the line GT. You can get a basic soft top for c. $21,000. My wife wanted silver, but some cars just gotta be resale red!

*drool* They are just such a great buy! Do you remember when the Miata first came out and people were cramming Ford 302's in them and calling them "Monster Miatas"? Man could those things boogey. Although the extra weight up front probably decreased handling a bit.
