  • what to do,after a long northeast winter???

im planing on detailing the truck after a long winters use
i was going to start with the clay bar and wax

any other steps anyone takes after winter?

also , despite my best efforts iv found some swirl marks in the paint
they are not major yet, i was wondering if i should try and fix them now?

fyi the truck is a 2009 ram, gray

    thanks

The first thing I do is to wash everything: well wells, engine compartments, undercarriage etc to get all of the road salt & grime off before it can do any damage.

After that, claying is a given as well as polishing/defect removal.

I'd say go for the correction now so that you have a clean slate to start off the summer.

I simple spring regimen is a good two bucket wash, claying, Swirl-X, and wax (NXT or Gold Class). There's certainly more you can do, but that is a basic course of action.
