It seems this section gets a little more attention than 'washing by hand'. I got a great reply, but just looking for a little more feedback.
Well I am very new to detailing, so i have been asking a couple experienced friends and have looked on the internet/this forum for a short time. What i have accumulated from friends for advice are these steps:
1. Hand soap the car with a good car wash(ex. Gold Class wash)
2. Meguiars Clay bar kit
3. Ultimate Compound (I have 'spider webbing' going on, and lots of scratches. I was told this will help remove them)
4. Meguiars #7 (Older gent with car show experience told me to use this)
5. I was kind of between Gold Class wax, and number #26 (People have said good things about both)
Does this sound like a great way to take on my rough paint? Thanks!
