  • Swirlx then Pro Glaze ?

Trying to read all the previous postings and I seem to get different information.

Is the Pro Glaze going to give me any benefit after completing the car with Swirlx ?

Just finished claying the Jeep and planned to Swirlx, Glaze then Liquid Gold. The Jeep is Black and I want show quality results.

    Thanks

We're assuming you mean M07 Show Car Glaze? If so, then on a black vehicle you will notice a darkening of the color and a deepening of the gloss. That is exactly what this product is designed to do. It should be used on a well prepped surface (which is what you're doing with clay and SwirlX) and is essentially a gloss enhancer. It does need to be covered with a wax or sealant of some sort or it won't last long at all.

As previously said, M07 glaze is great over a nicely cleaned paint finish (and then sealed with NXT2 and/or wax). SwirlX contains some glaze so the additional benefit will be less than would be seen applying M07 over ScratchX (which has no glaze).

For most end-consumers, SwirlX cleaning then a good Sealant/Wax is probably enough, especially if the wax also contains some glaze oils (like CGplus). For folks on this forum who really want maximum beauty, M07 glaze after any cleaner is a good step, especially on dark or red cars (or older single-stage paint). So, even when I clean with SwirlX, I apply M07 and then my Sealant/Waxes
