I have a ghost effect...

can anyone explain this one to me? Its a ghost like swirl effect I tried to wipe it off, but I could not. I applied a 2nd coat of NXT 2.0 is when it happened actually. First coat went on nicely with no ghost effect but 2nd one well...

Did you clayed the truck?

How long did you let the wax dry?

Seems like you may not have let the wax dry long enough. NXT 2.0 has a tendency to act funny when not allowed to cure.

it's the nxt2.0

i have let this stuff sit for a couple hours in the shade to try to stop this from happening. this only happens on my carbon fiber hood/trunk. never could figure it out. worst part is, even if i can finally buff it away, the next day i qd the car and wham, it comes back even worse.

don't know why/how this happens. applied thin and uniformely.

maybe you applied too much wax?

ok maybe I didnt let the wax dry enough when I look back. I mean I will live with it no biggie till next time I clay, polish, wax etc...It still looks nice, but you have to see it at an angle. thx guys...

It's residue from the NXT, for sure.

You either did one of two things, or both: 1.) Put the wax on too thick - strive for whisper thin coats, or 2.) You didn't let it cure long enough.

Give THIS a read about the SWIPE TEST.

Looks like it was not fully dried when you removed it.
