  • Progressive paint defect?

I think my paint has some sort of progressing defect. It doesn't look "clear" so to speak. Instead of producing an exact reflection, it is kind of a wavy reflection on the paint. I guess it looks like orange peel; but it is under the clear coat, and I have never had my car repainted. Other than one spot on the rocker panel. Another example is that if i'm next to a wall, the caustics aren't a solid yellow/white, they are almost dots. I haven't clayed/polished for a while, but I do wash/wax on a regular basis. Still, there are only VERY minor swirls, and no dirt.

It is very hard to near impossible to diagnose your problem without pics. With pics, we would be able to offer the best advice possible to correct the problem.
