Heyy guys, so in a few weeks ill be doing my detail on my 1995 honda civic sedan (Frost White). Im pretty bummed out that I will have to go to a car wash, like the ones with a stall and a pressure washer. I dont wanna do that but I have to. Should I bring my own soap? but once its washed, I will hit up the clay followed by swirlx maybe scratchx. Then 2 coats of Nxt paste wax. No need for the tires cuz that morning ill have new wheels and tires put on. Am i missing anything?

Re: Am I missing anything?
If that's what you have to do, do it. If you bring your own soap, I'd take two buckets, a lambswool wash mitt, and at least one grit guard, also two water magnets for drying.
It's tough saying by your description what cleaner or polish you will need. As you are claying and applying wax though, just using the harsh chemicals in their soap should suffice, as long as you get a good couple coats of wax on afterwards.

Re: Am I missing anything?
I use to use a wash like that. I cleared it with the owner ahead of time. I asked if I could come early in the morning, when it was not busy, and use my own soap. He gave me the okay. Just felt better doing it this way.
Good luck to you.quality creates its own demand

Re: Am I missing anything?
Yeah I was thinking of just using the water at their carwash ,and just bring my own soap. Theres a few 24hr car washes around where I live so im thinkin of just doing it at like 4am so I can get a jump start to doing all of it.What do you guys recomend on the polish that I use?-Sohc-
