  • P51 Roush question...

A customer called me with a P51 roush that we will be detailing soon. The car has a lot of stickers/vinyl on the hood and other parts of the vehicle. My question is, when using the dual action porter cable, will I have to worry about taking these off? If so, is there anything I can do to prevent anything from happening?

Id assume just tape off te edges of the stripes if not on it then just around it. Maybe with thin tape so it doesn't take up more space so you can do a better detail.maybe try to use a less adhesive tape so you don't have to worry about messing up the color on te stripe. Te stuff is fairly durable. I use to work at a sign company doing installs and never had an issue.

Yeah, tape them off. If they are really wide maybe tape plastic covering on top of them, or large towel if you're worried about splatter. Definitely be careful around the edges.
