  • Claying and waxing?

Ok, now is the turn for my car to be clay. Its 6 months old and because of some rains it has a lot of sediment on the paint, but i have some questions hope you guys can help a noob.

My car is white, this is what i pretend to do.
    1) Wash the car
2 ) Clay. ¿What else beside quick detailer can i use as lubricant?
    3) After claying. Should i polish? MAybe step 2 of deep crystal? By hand or with machine?
4 ) Waxing. I think that the best wax i have is the gold class carnuba, right or should i use another?
    5 ) enjoy and take a beer

This is the list of products i have for the job.
    - Gold class Shampoo
    - Scratch X 2.0
    - Deep Crystal, 1, 2, and 3.
    - Smooth surface clay kit
    - NXT wax spray
    - Gold class carnuba wax paste
    - GOld class carnuba liquid wax

What do you think. Thanks in advance

You can use Last Touch diluted at 1:1 as clay lube as well. Its really cheap and lasts a long time. I havent tried the gold class carnauba wax but i have used M26 on my truck but have lately i have been using Cleaner Wax. Really makes the paint look "whiter"

Last touch is a excellent lube.
The polish step is optional, your call.
        quality creates its own demand

I see you've posted only a few times so I think a Welcome is in store!!

You don't mention a machine and I'm working with the products you've listed.

          Washing

A through washing is certainly the first step. Removing all of the contaminits and debris will give you a great opportunity to inspect the paint for defects such as swirls, minor scratches, oxidation etc.

          Clay

Mix about 1 - 1 1/2 ounces of Gold Class Shampoo in 32 ounces of water and this will provide you an inexpensive way to make a clay lubricant.

          Paint Correction

Meguiar's SCRATCH X 2.0 is the must-have scratch remover for isolated paint blemishes! Only Meguiar's SCRATCH X works by hand on all types of paint and all types of scratches. Micro abrasives remove scratches, rather than hiding them. Meguiar's SCRATCH X 2.0 is a permanent solution to isolated paint scratches!

          Deep Crystal

This is a chemical cleaner and contains no abrasives so I don't know where this would fall in.

          Gold Class Wax

Apply and remove according to the instructions on the container.
