  • removing water spots from windows

    while on vacation in long beach island NJ i washed my car and forgot to dry some parts of my windows and now i have water spots on my windows, when this happens at home u use QD to remove the spots with easy, but here the water is very hard, UQD and re washing the car could not remove these water spots, what else can i do to remove these water spots? i wont be able to do it until saturday and today is wed. is it ok that the water spots sit on the car for 4 days? when i get home i have swirlx,scratchx,UC,and clay bar, will any of those remove the water spots?

    Try claybar first, if that doesn't work, use one of your polishes on it and it should come right up.

    You could also a try vinegar/water spray.

                Give "Plastx" a try. Then use your favorite window cleaner to clean it all up.

                Works for me and our water is more 'like rocks in a hose' than 'Culligan Man'. That and being the wettest summer in years, ya can't keep up with it.

                  Windex gets all kinds of stuff off your windows. Sometimes the simple solution is the best solution!

                    from the windows claying removed the water spots but from the paint i had to use swirlx and i even used swirlx and the rain guards with no problems
