How to detail a Harley motorcycle??

I have never detailed a motorcycle before I would appreciate some advice from someone who has detailed a Harley before,thanks

Is there anything I shouldn't do, can I wash it by spraying it with water an thennusing car soap and the rinsing it off with water or should just use a quik detailed to wipe it down? Can I used gold class leather cleaner on the seats, will mega chrome polish work on the chrome pipes and motor?

Nothing wrong with washing, unless it was some kind of 'show bike' the owner didnt want wet. Polish is fine for the pipes.

If the seats are leather, the the leather cleaner/conditioner should be ok.

If it is vinyl, you really want to be carefull of dressings, as it can make the seats too slick.

And no dressing tires.
