    Hi Chevy371, welcome to the forum. You're just up the road from me (Edmonton). I used to live in Cold Lake for 5 years.

    Anyhow knowing the environment your truck is subjected to, it's likely your truck is faded looking because of all the small scratches. It likely needs a real good surface cleaning and a polish with a G110v2 and some M105.

    Take a look at this thread of a black Ford I polished. The one thing I want you to note is how much better it actually looked with a proper cleaning, prior to me polishing it. Depending on how you want to wash your vehicle down the road, will determine what level of correction you should do today.
