I have just hit my 03 jeep wrangler (black) with UC used OB 3,000rmp. Hand rubbed tight spots. I have the NXT wax on stand by. It got dark before I got done. Sould I hit iy with polishing compound before wax?

Re: Ultimate Comp & polish
The polish step is optional. Being black, it will improve the appearance somewhat.
I'd wait till the morning and assess it then. Who knows, the UC may have left some marring and you wouldn't be able to tell at the moment in the dark.Originally posted by BluelineI own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
