I've been seeing the new DA approved version of the M105 online and i was wondering if there really is a difference between it and the pre existing M105. Has the product been reformulated or is it just a way to attract more people to purchase it?

Re: New DA Approved M105
I cannot speak to the reason "why" it is different. I can tell you when buying the stuff, I could only get the "DA friendly" version, there was not an option for either one or the other.
I worked on some panels recently and nothing out of the ordinary or not somthing that I have read about when using a Rotary with the stuff was any different.

Re: New DA Approved M105
Old version of M105 - recommended use via hand and rotary.
My personal findings is that the newer DA friendly will have much longer working time (wetter) and in terms of aggressiveness, I don't see any significant difference between the old and the new. Plus when its a little bit wetter, it dust lesser then the first gen. of M105.
Hope that helps.
