  • LSP over sealant with DA?

Just read a post over on Autogeek where someone said you should not apply an LSP over a sealant or first coat with a DA, too much risk of rubbing off the sealant/first coat.

I would think that applying an LSP, whether by DA or hand, over another sealant or wax will always remove some of the first layer, but not enough to not make it still worth doing.

    Any thoughts/opinions?

    Thanks.

I think as long as you give your sealant a 12-24 hour time to properly bond...shouldn't be a problem to use the DA.
    Black......the ONLY color!

Kinda thought that might be the case. I usually wait at least 12 hours, usually closer to 24. Thanks.

I agree. The longer you wait for the sealant to set up. You should be okay.
