  • Paint feels dirty so soon?

Just did a complete correction on an old car with a nice base/clear. Used PC with orange LC pad with UC. The went PC with black LC pad with pure polish. Followed up by NXT 2.0 x2. The car has stayed in the garage for two weeks and not been moved or touched.
The paint looks perfect... super high reflection, but I ran my hand across it and boy it feels dirty!!! what the hell happened?

Did you clay? Even sitting inside for 2 weeks....you're gonna get some dust settling on the paint. What color is it?
    Black......the ONLY color!

      Did you clay before waxing?

Even just sitting in your garage dust will settle on the vehicle.

Give it a qd ( if it is just light dust), then see how the paint feels.

I get this often on my weekender. It will sit garaged and pick up all kinds of dust and even bugs. The good news is that with the NXT on top of the paint on your car, these contaminates shouldn't bond if you use a quick detailer every so often. Try wiping it down with Last Touch, it will look and feel as good or better than it did right after you NXT'd it.

Thanks... ill try last touch. I was about you do a cleaner wax, then do coat or two of M26 just to see if its gets better.

I think you'll be happy with just the last touch but if you want to apply 26 you can put it straight on top of the nxt - no need to remove it and, potentially, the pure polish you applied by using a cleaner wax. Even if you use 26, it will probably feel dirty again from the garage. Mine gets this way regardless of the products I use.
