tubular side steps. i dont know if there chrome or stainless
some sort of chrome plated plastic cover over the rims

talk to me about cleaning these

I also have a leather trim dash and really soft trim everywhere else..i guess it might be leather too

what about other tips on the inside? i have half leather half cloth seats if it matters..

im good on the outside for the most part.. but would you clay bar a new truck?

Definitely clay it before doing any sort of exterior work, rail dust and other contaminants can bond to the paint during transport.

As for cleaning the wheels you can use all purpose cleaner(APC), all purpose cleaner plus(APC+), and if they get really dirty from brake dust you can use wheel brightener (pretty heavy duty product).

Inside you can use APC/APC+ for most surfaces 10:1 for most stuff and 4:1 for tough stains like in the carpet. You can also use leather cleaner and conditioner. All of these are from the detailer line, here's a catalogue link that gives more info, http://www.meguiars.com/catalog/2010...al_Catalog.pdf

      +2 for claying.
Meguair's aluminum and mag polish should take care of our metal very nicely.
Meguair's leather cleaner and conditioner should handle the leather trim.

      Good luck.
