Re: water spots removal
Sometimes water can etch paint so badly its impossible to remove without excessively thinning the paint layer.
Is your car the 2001 Camaro SS in Black that was at a TNOG session within the past couple of months?Andy W.

Re: water spots removal
Can you feel the water spots with your finger nails? If yes, the water etching may be too deep to safely correct.
Did multiple passes of 105 on a yellow pad with a DA gradually reduce the water spots?
- if not, then you may need to switch to a RotaryAndy W.

Re: water spots removal
Andy is spot on (no pun intended) with this, as usual. Water spots can get etched pretty deeply into the paint and when/if they do then they can be a real bugger to get out. Paint hardness plays a huge roll in this as well.
Did you make any progress at all on them? What kind of car are you working on? Color? We've seen cases where even M105 on a wool pad via rotary struggled to fully remove water spots, so they can be very challenging in worst case scenarios.Michael Stoops
