Re: Keeping a black car looking good?

I have a black 2009 Scion xB. The most important step, for me, on keeping my paint looking good is to wash my car once a week, using the TWO-BUCKET METHOD (2 Grit Guards). A foam gun is a optional step, but will decrease the chance of scratching my loosening the dirt and grime from your paint.

I don't use a foam gun and I use one grit guard. I simply live with the swirls that I get from washing and brushing up against it. In the spring I will do a full detail and get it perfect but then it's all maintenance until the following spring.
