professionaL line vs consumer line

what is the difference from the pro line and the consumer line? they both have the same products in each lineup but. why are they different? other uses maybe?

In the pro line most can be used with a rotary. Consumer line not as much.

Pro line has products that are body shop safe, not in the consumer line.

Pro line has bulk sizes, not in the consumer line.

These are just a few of the differences.

I think body shop products is for use mainly by DA or rotary polisher.

Consumer line is for hand or DA.

thay need be differents, Products for rotary need to manage high temps

You dont want certain ingrediants around where you are spraying paint.

Why aren't some products shop safe? Send a message to Mike Phillips. I heard him give a great explanation that made sense, even to me, but I can't remember what his answer was.

The consumer line is made for the cunsumer for ease of usage. Though the professional line does contain some of the same types of products they also include a wider variety because of varying types of paint or sufaces. Each product in the professionl line has a purpose and can be combined with other products in the line to get needed results. This is esspecially important when it comes to compounds and polishes used with a rotary buffer. As new meguair product come out some of the technology used in the professional line is trickaling into the consumer line for ease of use without lossing effectiveness.
