Polished glass with UC! With Rotary!?

So my friends have a newer Camry that had horrible water spots from sprinkler systems on mostly the side windows, passenger and drivers side. I was reading about glass polishing systems and others who had tried using either UC or SwirlX or other polishes, so I figured, if UC can remove spots on the paint i can use it remove spots on glass. I know, I know UC is not meant to be used with a Rotary but it worked so well with a 3in pad at about 1000-1500RPM. It completely removed all spots and it was so easy to work with.
Has anyone ever polished glass with UC and a Rotary before?
I recommend it, but with caution, lots of mess everywhere.

I've used Griot's Garage Glass Polish with a 3" DA buffer and was able to get all the spots removed.
