recently i go to hit "New Posts" after not being on for 26 hours and it says no new threads. so nobody posted one thing. that just doesnt seem right?

There is a section below the PM when you hit "Reply" that has several boxes you can check off. One of the says to save a copy of the PM in your sent folder. If you don't check this each time then you will not have a copy to look at for yourself. Took me a while to figure that out.

Every now and then when I hit the "new posts" button it will tell me that there is nothing new, but click here for updates from the last 24 hours. Not always, but sometimes.

The fix? Well, we're in the process of setting up the latest and greatest version of the forum software so (fingers crossed - you computer geeks know how quickly these things can go upside down!!) we should some changes in the not too distant future.

Just, um, don't get too antsy about the new forum software, ok? It's just an update to the current package (albeit supposedly a fairly major one) and our web guy has other projects going on too so this is NOT at the top of his priority list. But it is coming.
