Hey everyone.
I am new to the detailing scene having just bought a new Audi, so I am keen to keep it in top condition
Already I have my first issue
The car’s front grill is high gloss plastic (black piano type, which can be found on TV surrounds etc..) I have managed to get some small scratches/swirls on it, not sure how! They aren’t deep, it’s relatively smooth when I run my finger across them. They don’t look the best tho as the gloss aspect has faded so it looks horrible.
I have been told to use either Meguiars 205, Novus 2 or Scratch X. However, I am a total novice in this area and wasn’t sure if these products (more so the Meguiars ones) are suitable for high gloss plastics.
Has anyone used these products, or different ones specifically on high gloss plastic to remove/hide scratches??
Thanks in advance, any help would be appreciated.
