      Its either Lowes or Home Depot that sells a nice work step. Can get it on sale pretty cheap sometimes, I'll have to do a little searching...

                    To wash I use those poles with the MF pad on the end and stand on the back bumper. I get the front of the roof while standing on the ground at the side of the vehicle. Then I get probably the rear three quarters of the roof (inside the roof rack area) standing on the back bumper. I also stand on the back bumper to rinse.

                    To wax I use a regular old ladder.

                    Works for me!

                      Another vote for the Werner Work Platform here. It gets a work out around my house between my truck and my wife's SUV. Also useful for projects around the house.

                              I have two, the one I got from Home Depot is a little higher than the other. It does help cut time a little with two when working on the roof.
