    Overall cleaning ability of Ultimate Polish and SwirlX are pretty close with the nod maybe going to SwirlX under identical application process. But that's almost splitting hairs. UP has a lot more polishing oils in so even by hand it will add more gloss to a finish. UP, being derived from M205, will also yield more clarity to a well prepped finish than SwirlX when applied via DA buffer. We'd call UP the premium product of the two, honestly, even though their retail pricing is going to be the same at most places.

      Have you tried Ult. Polish and then Deep Crystal. I've tried Ult. Compound, Ult. Polish with only so so results for MY particular vehicle. FWIW...first time I tried Ult. Compound the swirls were easily removed with regular wax. Tried Ult. Polish, swirls did not come out with regular wax. That's why I'm thinking Deep Crystal. It it works, I'll call it Polish for Dummies (me).
