What is the best way to clean and protect the factory installed chrome

tailpipe tips on my new VW CC ? I took delivery about 6 weeks ago and

the tips get grundgy pretty quick.

I probably should remove them for the winter months or maybe a little

    sooner.

    Thanks,
    Elaval

    Re: cleaning chrome

After washing with a dedicated wash cloth and a good car wash I see where I stand. Then move on to a Chrome polish such as Mothers and then inspect. After getting desired results, try to wax/seal it and keeping up with a good washing regiment.

There is a product by the name of Blue Magic that is available OTC. I've seen it work wonders and I believe it also provides a protective coat.

      Just a suggestion.
