  • Cleaning/polishing IN-BETWEEN badges

Ran into a problem today. Was waxing my car (powder white Sonata), and noticed the nooks & crannies inside the badges were dingy. Tried to get inside them as best I could with the applicator pad, but not quite tight enough. Later, I gave q-tips a try. Apply a small amount of wax to an end and spin it through the "counters" and spaces of the words/logos. Seemed to work OK.
Anyone have a better idea/product/technique to help in this matter?

    Thanks folks!

When performing the inital wash try using a very soft paintbrush & soapy water to agitate.

    As for protection,

Try misting on multiple coats of UQW or Syn X -Press Spray Wax then rinsing off with water.

Great pointers. These are the 2 methods I'd use, too. Soft bristle brush to agitate and clean (just use your usual car wash soap).

Ultimate Quik Wax for those impossible-to-reach crevices. It's nice to have the WHOLE car protected.

Thanks for the advice fellas. I was in a rush to get the car washed the night before and totally forgot my badges while washing the car. It was only when I was waxing the car when I realized I forgot to get inside those badges. So I made due with the q-tips & cleaner wax and it worked OK.
