glimour foam gun.. what soap for most suds?

looking to know what kind of soap you guys are using for your glimour foam gun. i tried using meg deep crystal car wash and was very unhappy with the results, barely any suds at all. looking for a car soap that is gonna make a ton of suds with good cleaning agents and for good lubrication. let me know what you guys are using thanks.s

I use #62. But the Super Soap is the one meguiars makes that is most designed for something like that.

Though none of the Meguiars soaps are meant to look like shaving cream you see in some pictures.

Like what everybody else said, you should try super soap!

If you need something OTC and really cheap, I've had great luck with the deep crystal soap.

I tend to use a combination of NXT Wash & Super Soap.

Gold Class works well too.

I find gold class to produce very little suds when used in a foam gun. The same observation is made with the ultimate wash and wax.

I knew the UW&W foamed poorly but I always got decent results with GC.

But then again I pour about 8-10 oz in the gun & add a little water.

When I first used my Gilmour, I used Shampoo Plus. I was surprised with the amount of suds and am very happy with it thus far. For an OTC product, I keep reading that Gold Class works well too.

Saw my friend put shampoo plus (gotta be at least 1.5oz to 2oz) per quart botle, leaves a good foam but disappear quite fast.... I got better foam and durability from other brand soap.

This combination, 2oz+30oz and 1:10, equals about 1:160, which is very close to the recommendation on the label of Super Soap of 1:128.
