I would also make sure the repainter knows how to really use a rotary buffer. If not, the car will look awesome at first. After a few washes, holograms/buffer swirls all over your car.

I would have the car cut and buffed by a pro. Its too much work for someone who has never attempted a job this big. Call the shop go from there. Did they say anything about bringing the car back to finish in a few days?

Nope, they didn't. When I got home, I saw my paint was not shiny, I called the shop owner. He said to bring back the car after 2 days of it is still not shiny. They will polish the car. I don't know what he meant by that. I felt that I was fooled. It was my first time to have my car repaint.

I hope he does. When I open my hood to check my engine after vaccuming my car, I saw a black thin hard foam pad. I do not know what was that so I threw it away. and I thought he was just doing hand sanding because of that.

I think its safe to assume that its part of the package. If so, what he meant was he will polish or "Buff" you car to a high gloss and that he didn't buff the car as much because he wanted to ensure that the paint is fully cured. For the orange peel, more sanding may be required to even the paint out before buffing.

Keep us updated and make sure your happy with the results before the car leaves the shop. Try to view the finish inside under their shops lights before you leave

Take your time when viewing your car.. View all angles, different light conditions, i would check everything again (how the interior panels etc., were reinstalled). Its something you're entitled to do, i mean you payed alot for the paint job and you weren't able to use your car for a long while.
