    Front Grille on a 08 CTS

    Hello all,

    I recently purchased a 08 CTS. Upon arriving home after picking it up I noticed that the front grille had some strange marks on it. It looks like someone tried to use some sort of cleaner or something and it left a stain. Ive tried various cleaners, even just plain water, but nothing seems to be having any effect.

    Does anyone know what this could be and how I could remove it.

    to me that looks like stains from the acid they put down on the roads during winter time. I bought my wifes Acadia in Colorado and it had similar marks. I tried everything to get the marks out but no luck. I ended up buying her a new grill and misc chrome trim pieces for around the car.

    Im assuming the piece is plastic from the picture, you can try some clay followed by ultimate compound before giving up on the piece
