Hi, people call me Black Bart, as to my affiliation with Cowboy Action Shooting. I have a 2006 Silver Ford F-150. It has 52,000 miles on it and has never been polished. I live in an area in Northern California that has Temperatures as low as 17 and as high as 117. The truck is always parked outside, exposed to the elements. Also we have lots of bugs on the freeways that make a mess of the front of the vehicle. My question is where do I start to bring the finish on this vehicle to where it should be. What steps to I take, etc.?

First off, welcome to MOL!
Secondly, you may have your work cut out for you after 5 years of that truck sitting outside. Check out our 5 Step Paint Care Cycle and block out a weekend, depending on what your ultimate goal is, to correct everything.Michael Stoops
