Hey everyone. Rookie at all this, thats why Ive posted alot. But I just bought a new Black Jeep and was wondering if I need to wax it myself to protect the paint? Or should I wait before winter because it is a new vehicle.

You can start caring for it and cleaning/waxing, etc right away.
Always easier to keep it in good shape than to try and bring it back to good shape.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue -

Congrats on the new BLACK jeep.
It NEVER hurts to protect your new vehicle. Starting now you can protect your vehicle from the elements and when winter begins you will need to wash regularly depending on what they use on the roads as far as salt or sand, and possibly use a spray wax to maintain your finish.
I say take pleasure in washing it properly, and use your favorite wax (preferably the new Ultimate Liquid or Paste Wax)
Just do some research here at MOL on the 2 bucket method to wash and how to properly wax and you'll do great.
