When you clay, do you do the entire car or just the horizontal surfaces?

Re: Clay question
the entire car. glass wheels, the underskirt, exhaust. doesn't work well on textured plastics. i haven't tried on door jams. note i use separate clay for wheels/exhaust than for pain. if i drop the clay bar i retire those to wheels only.

Re: Clay question
Well, you can do what you like...
But certainly best to clay everything the first time. Some people will then check around in the future, and just clay trouble areas. I just do the whole thing when I feel like claying.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: Clay question
Do a baggie test first to see if it needs it, if it feels rough then I'd clay the entire car, don't share the clay with your paint and wheels.
Clay your car first then from that point use that peice for your wheels and glass.
You will pickup some nasty stuff from the wheels.Chief Engineer.
