  • Last Touch vs. UQD

I use UQD but wanting to try LT.
Does last touch work well as a detail spray or should I stick with UQD?
I saw that I can buy LT in a gallon for under 20 bucks.
I use DP daily after dusting with my Cal. Duster.

Too me they are 2 different items as UQD is good for wiping off fine dust and adding a little more hydrophobic water protection which is useful. LT is stuff I use for clay bar lubricant. Both would work but the little extra protection of the UQD edges it for me.

I use LT as a detail spray and clay lube. At less than $20 per gallon that produces a 1:1 dilution ratio of 2 gallons, LT has replaced UQD for me.

        Re: Last Touch vs. UQD

While UQD and LT can be used for the exact same purpose, UQD offers the added benefit of hydrophobic polymers that LT lacks. But then LT offers the option of diluting it 1:1 with water and using it as a clay lube, which you really can't do with UQD.

If you'd rather stick with UQD but want the cost effectiveness of buying in bulk, pick up a gallon of M135 Synthetic Spray Detailer. While it's still a bit more expensive than LT it's definitely cheaper than UQD if you're using it every day.

Mike, is M135 the exact same thing as UQD but in bulk?

            Re: Last Touch vs. UQD

I use both Last Touch and M135, but for different purposes.
LT diluted 1/1 with water as a clay lube and M135 as a detailing spray.

I didn't see much difference between the M135 and UQD to be honest.

I think M135 is very similar to UQD....I recall reading something in the forums here....prompted me to order 2 jugs of M135....once I use up my 4-5 bottles of UQD.....i will be using just M135 .....I also have a jug of LT...I'll be using that once I use up my last bottle of QD

..... yep, M135 is the Mirror Glaze Pro line equivalent to UQD; same hydrophobic polymers in a mist & wipe quick detailer type product.
