  • Removing Water Marks

I went out of town for several days. The sprinklers came on and because it was windy, my dark blue BMW was sprayed with irrigation water and then sat in the sun. I've tried washing the car by hand but the water marks are still visible. Is there an easier way to remove the water marks than by buffing the entire car? I've used Ultimate Compund in the past for other minor defects and my paint responded well. But I'm not excited to buff it again since I just did it in May.

I'm also wondering if more coats of wax would have prevented this.

Sounds like a cleaner of some kind will be needed, but should try a milder cleaner like Ult. polish, or a cleaner/wax type product.
