I could not describe the paint issue of my car. Origially, my car had few srcatch on door, and i was trying to fix it by using the touch-up and 2000 grip sandpaper. However, this how is look like now after it was being sand and compound, i feel totally disapointed by myself, please help. Thanks.

Re: Clear coat correction help
Well, it appears as though you've got a few things going on here. Can you tell us a bit about how you prepped this before applying the touchup paint? Was this a badly scraped area in the paint or just a chip and a scratch or two? It appears that you've got quite a bit of surface area covered for just a scratch or chip, and it looks like you've got some sanded areas (the light patches) and some heavier touch up covered areas too. How did you perform the sanding and compounding? It looks like you attempted to sand just a very small area and didn't get out all the sanding marks, but it's a bit difficult to tell for sure. Please give us a bit more info on your process, from start to finish, and we'll see if we can give you a pointer or two. But, and we sort of hate to say this, you may be forced to go to a body shop to fully correct this at this point.Michael Stoops
